    hhahaha yea the title says it all


    any way my ball python is eatting 1 large mouse a week and he is getting huge! but not long!


    do ball pythons (normal) tend to get fat not long?

    Ball pythons are heavy-bodied snakes. They are very much thicker in relation to length than many other common species in captivity.

    However they CAN be overfed and become 'too fat' just like any animal, but because of their body structure it's a little harder to tell when they are overweight than a more slender species such as corn snakes.

    How much does your snake currently weigh, and how old is it? Yes, snakes can get fat, so make sure you're not over-feeding... although with only 1 mouse a week, I doubt that's a problem. You should see my "fatty" Julius, the 4 month-old Mojave - he's gone from 95g to nearly 400g in the 3 months I've had him. :O

    Wasn't it recently when you posted about having feeding problems and was looking for help? If so, glad to hear that your snake is eating just fine now. :)
