Cooling and light schedule

When you have all you BP'sin a rack system do you keep all your breeders in one rack together and seperate your non breeders? That way your non breeding snakes are not subjected to the cooler temps and night drops?

Also for the rack system guys how do you simulate your night and day schedule? It seems like the racks are kinda dark inside all the time?

Sorry for any of the questions being dumb but im just trying to get a better feel for it all before I go head deep into it.
