Washington state near Mission BC Canada
Im looking for a breeder who lives close to the border of Canada in Washington state. Im trying to pick up a snake located in canada. The breeder has agreed to meet in washington for pick up. I would then pay for shipping to my location in illinois. I cant drive all the way across the usa and i do not want to miss this chance. If any member breeders are in that area and willing to help me get this snake here please let me know. Thanks. I can reimburse for your time as well.

Are you outta your mind? Really...are you outta your mind girl? This is completely illegal and it may be some sort of sting operation.

Sounds fishy. If he was going to come into the U.S., why wouldn't he just ship it when he got into WA? I would help you out but it just doesn't sound right.

It kind of does sound like someone trying to smuggle ball pythons across the border to get out of paying CITIES fees or something like that. I'd be highly suspicious.

You know what? I didn't even think of it like that. This breeder is actually one of the best known in canada. I know he has been to shows in the usa. I didn't think of it as maybe him setting me up. I figured he should know what He's doing if he brings captive bred animals across the border. Seeing as its not something Ive done myself maybe i should just wait until the snakes i was trying to get and more readily available in the usa. Honestly if he lived near the sarnia crossing i would get my own cities and go pick them up myself.

    Run away

May as well be smuggling drugs, you still get "tail locked" for stuff like that by fish and wildlife...

Maybe I can be of some help. And perhaps back up these HORRIBLE CANADIANS you all speak of...

I happen to live in Maple Ridge, about an hour from the border, and I know a breeder in my town, Abbotsford, and have heard of a big-time breeder in Mission, though I have not had the privilege to view his facilities yet. Could you message me the name of this breeder?

AHA! Just found out there is another CITIES being applied for right now (in the process) for a shipment going to another breeder in the U.S.

The animals I wanted should be able to be added to that shipment.

    Problem solved :P
