    Question about feeding
My female is currently 800+ grams. She's been eating small rats consistently since about a month or so after I got her and she is a little over a year old. Well lately I have been noticing that she seems hungry ALL THE TIME. Im serious. Her temps are 82 and 92 and humidity is 70. She only uses one hide but has two and a water bowl and all that jazz. Now, the reason I think she seems hungry all the time is because whenever I go into the room, even a day after feeding, she pops her head out really quickly in strike position. I can handle her just fine, she hasn't struck at me or anything, but she does this every day. Her spine isn't sticking out and she is round, but when I lay her out it seems like her spine is a bit more pronounced than I'd like it to be. She was 395 grams when I got her in July and is an 08, and she has been perfectly healthy with no parasites since I got her. I'm just curious if maybe I should upgrade her to medium rats? Not sure if anyone has had any luck feeding prey this big or any knowledge on what might be the problem.

Not really. She's not fat but she is a big girl (her head looks very proportionate and she isn't squishy) so I dont think I'd ever see a lump on her unless I fed her a football. I dont think she'd like that though.

I have some pictures for size ref. if anyone needs to see...but I might have to PM you because a Cosmo mag was the ref. and I don't think thats to appropriate for the forum. Didn't think about it until after I took the picture.
