Could they have?!?!
I'm over excited.. what can i say, this is my FIRST year at attempting to breed my ball pythons!
So lastnight i threw my banded female and Male Bumble Bee together.. Right away he went for her, seen a little tiny tail wag from him... He wrapped his tail around her... and then just kept line'ing himself up beside her... Figured we seen some Courtship between the two, so we left them be for the night.
He was all over the cage too, moving aound, wouldn't stay still.
Now the cage is covered in poop/pee and the female is laying ontop of the male.. Do you think they might have locked during the night at all ? Or do you think their just getting to know one another.. LOL
I'm curious to know, so i figured i'd ask the experts! I've watched countless youtube videos and read a number of books... So hopefully what i saw was the first steps of breeding.

Re: Could they have?!?!
Unfortunately, no. :( I suppose it's possible, but locks usually last many hours and would probably still be locked this morning.
Keep trying, though. It sounds like he's off to a good start!

Re: Could they have?!?!
BP's can lock anywhere from 2-24 hours from my experience, just because you didn't see one doesn't mean there wasn't one ;) Keep up the 3 days on 3 days off and you'll be just fine ;)

Re: Could they have?!?!
We've had alot of pairs lock, like full on copulation with pene action, for 3 hours or less, alot of 20 minute ones. Mature males seem to do it faster, so heck maybe the Bee knows what he's doin. It only takes one lock to fertilize eggs, had it happen with a Fire to Pastel pairing.
