    Hi everyone!!
Well I have been on here a while but never fully introduced myself...actually I always stayed on the threads about BP's so I just recently start venturing.

    Ok so .....here goes:

My name is Michelle and I have started collecting ball pythons in September. My son wanted a pet for his birthday...and we widdled down the list and his Grandma got him a Normal BP. After about...oh I don't know....1 DAY...I fell in love. Within 3 weeks I got a bee and then this weekend picked up a butter. Clearly addicted very quickly

I am married and have a 9 year old son, we live in Sahuarita, AZ. I am happy to announce that my "lifer" husband just retired from the military after 23 years...woohooo. Now he is still working for the army but as a civilian. Yea...no more Iraq or Korea for him. I worked as an executive for many years prior to getting married 4 yrs. ago. Now I work as an aide at my son's school. Other than that...I am your typical soccer mom...minus the snakes...lol Which is pretty funny to see the reaction of the other "soccer moms" when they find out I have snakes.

I have to say I LOVE THIS SITE. I think I am addicted to this site as well...lol. Everyone has been so welcoming and so nice. I have been on a couple of other sites where that was NOT how it was. So thank you to everyone on here that has given me advice or will in the future.

My plans moving forward ....way in the future are to breed my snakes. I understand I probably will not make any money...nor will I probably break even. I am doing it for the experience! Maybe eventually I will have a great start to give to my son for the future opportunities. Who knows...but for now I am having a great time and learning a lot.

I will tell him...thank you so much for saying that! It means allot. I don't think some ppl realize what the families go through when their significant other is gone. He spent 15 months in Iraq and prior to that we were apart 90% of the time due to his specialty. We just spent our 2nd ever Halloween and my first birthday together. Crazy seeing how we have been together for 8 years.
