Do you feed your BP when they are in shed?
Just wondering if people here feed when their BPs are in shed? I went and got food today, and went to weigh my snakes before feeding and discovered that Alexander (spider) is heavy into shed. His eyes are fully clouded. I am planning to start pairing him with one of my females in the next week or 2, so I want to keep his strength up. Any advice?

Depends on the snake. All my snakes eat just fine while in shed. Offer and see what happens!

The onl;y way to find out if your BP will eat or not while in shed is by offering food.
I feed mine on schedule shed or not and I would say that only a handful will refuse while in shed.

I don't have any problems with mine, all of them eat while in shed.

I feed all my snakes on saturday and sunday so if ones in shed I will offer food and usually they take it I dont have many that refuse food even in shed

Same as most everyone...feed no matter. Sometimes (very rarely) will one refuse.

I feed no matter what! I will even offer food to females the day after they lay eggs to see if they are hungry yet. Its not the end of the world if you have a spare rat!
