    howdy from a critter junkie
Howdy! I am Gisele and I'm a junkie for critters. But I do limit myself to 2 cats so I won't be the crazy cat lady (just the crazy snake lady). I've had my ratsnake and male hognose for over a year and prior to getting those two, I had taken a couple years hiatus from herp husbandry. I recently added the other snakes in my collection. As a teen I had a reptile room with a small bed in it (had just a few many reptiles!). While I've kept various colubrids, pythons, boas, geckos, varanids, agamas, chameleons, a couple invertebrates, and a venomous snake, and I've successfully gotten some of them to breed, I feel like I'm brand new at this in some ways. And in other ways its like getting back on a bicycle and some knowledge never fades.

It'll be nice to cultivate some new friendships among reptilian loving folks. So far it looks like there's a really good core group. I look forward to getting to know you all.

p.s. I'm no cowgirl, only wish I was born one :)
