Picked these guys up at teh SC show! Help me identify them?
So my girl started to show an interest in my snakes lately, so i told her we would pick up one for her own at the next show. little did i know we would be coming home with 3 new babies :P. I had taken down 3 of my normal balls to rehome and we ended up just trading them for 3 corns :).

I'm totally new to corns, so would like to know the exact morphs of them, as well as what i could get if we were to breed them in a few years.

this one i was told is a Male Amel

    http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/8799/amel2x.jpg http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/amel2x.jpg/1/w3648.png

this one i was told is a Female Reverse Okeetee
    http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6359/reverseokatee.jpg http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/rever...pg/1/w3648.png
    http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/994...rseokatee2.jpg http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/rev...pg/1/w3648.png

and this one is a Female, but the guy i got her from as well as other people didnt know if she was a Butter or a Gold Dust. (andd the pics i have of her suck...) figgures :p

so once they are of size and age, lets say i bred the male to both of them, what would i get? i asked multiple people at the show and got 10000 different answers.. and not just like different morph answers... some people said id get all normal hets, some said id get all albinos, and some said i could get all different stuff depending on if they have any hets.

so just assuming they are just the morph pictured not having any hets in there genes what would i get if i bred them?? and do you guys think id be better off just getting the same morph and make a pair for each. Then just find out what kind of het surprises pop out?

    Awesome pick ups!:gj:
The Reverse Okeetee is a selective breed amel to get the wide white borders. If you breed with male amel and her together you will get all amels. Some might have the wide white borders.
I'm not good with the butter/gold dust morphs. But, she is gorgeous. ;)

OK, just looked here: http://www.corncalc.com/index.jsp, I love that site.
If your girl is a butter(Amel, Caramel) and you pair her with your amel, you will get all amels het for caramel
If she is a gold dust(ultramel, caramel) and you paired her with your amel, you would get 1/2 ultramel het for caramel and 1/2 amel het for caramel.
So, no matter which girl you pair him with you will get amels and maybe some ultramels. :gj:

ok thanks alot! you were more help than anyone was at the show... i got all three snakes from different vendors and they all just said well there are always so many hets thrown in you never know what you might get... but i just wanted to know assuming there wernt any hets what i would get and could never get a straight answer :p. so thanks alot.

so are you saying the the reverse okeetee is just an amel with white?? i thought they were a totally differnt morph.

and whats the main difference in the ultramel and the amel?? ive looked at pics but they all varry so much i cant tell the difference

Yep, That's what I have learned from other sites. Just like an okeetee is a normal with thick black borders.

Copied this from iansvivarium.com off of the morph guide: Ultra (hypo type D) and amelanistic alleles share the same locus and are incompletely codominant to each other, so if a corn is het for both Ultra and Amel, it creates a snake with an appearance intermediate between the two.
But I'm still learning a lot about morphs too. Up until this year I had only had two amels and my snow. Cornsnakes.com has helped a lot.

Yup, first is amel, 2nd is a reverse okeetee (and is going to be a screamer!), and the last looks butter. Better pics of the eyes would help, but they look pink from the pics so I'd say butter.

    Nice pick ups.

ok thanks guys! and yeah the reverse okeetee is by far my favorite! shes also the biggest by a few grams, has already managed to find her way out of her tank... no clue how.. anddd she pounds 2 pinkies for me right out of m hands :).

so would love to hear more from people who already have bread corns before or just know a lot about the morphs.

im for sure going to be getting more, sooo should i..?

    1. get a female amel, male reverse okeetee, and male butter (pair for the ones i have now)?? just so when im trying to find new homes for all the babies i dont just have a tonnn of normals and amel hets for all kinds of stuff. would like to have a more diverse looking snakes to pick from.

    2. just breed the the i have together?

    3. or do #1 and get a few snows or somthing?

im leaning tords #3 lol. im already addicted
