I got Rexes and a double rex? (vids)
Been a while since I have been here on bp.net, I have been busy with other things but, I figured I would stop in, say "hi!" and share that I ended up with rex rats by accident

Breeding rats for food was my intent, but I did have a slip, well, 2, a brother got to two of his sisters (I thought I had a bit more time, well, :colbert: ) anyway, I ended up with two litters, the first, about weaned and when I pulled them out for the first time, I was suprised.

Grandma was a dumbo. Grandad was just a "standard" rat mom and dad I assume where hets for dumbo. The accidental breeding results I end up with about 6 babies, 3 rex, 1 normal and 1 double rex? :O

Here is a short vid of the rex:

And what I want to say a double rex:

If the parents werent rex you cannot get double rex.

Rex is not a recessive, afaik, so one of the parents had to be rex/velveteen.

Aw, I totally could never let my snake pound one of these:

If I found one in my feeder breeding stock, it would totally become a reprieve pet. That's just precious. Lookit the curly whiskers! *lapses into babytalk from cute overload*
