feeding crickets and meal worms; a question
    Hey folks,

I've put some pieces of vegetables in with my crickets and meal worms.

    1. Should I chop the veggies up very small, or are biggish (?) chunks okay?

    2. My meal worms are in a plastic container with an inch and a half of oat bran. Is there something better that I should be using?

    Thanks for reading.

    1. i use big chunks... they eat it just the same..

    2. with my worms i try to make the substrate into smaller pieces.. but not dust sized.. you may try putting the oat bran in a blender and do 1 or 2 pulses

You can add oats, wheat germ, baby rice cereal, dry milk...the more the merrier! I don't crush it too much, they will suffocate if it's too fine as they breathe through their bodies.
