    Interesting list. What is the difference between 'controlled' species and 'restricted' species? There must be some pretty important game farm concerns up there, I noticed a distinct absence of exotic deer and antilope species. I guess it's not allowable to keep certain animals for pets, but if you can get someone to pay you to shoot one you've raised it's perfectly hunky dory. They did a pretty thorough job of listing snakes that were even remotely venomous, even those with such weak venom that the only way it could be harmful to a person would be to freeze the snake solid and hit someone over the head with it.

    This is a pretty good example of legislators gone wild, just making stuff up as they go.

    Aww darnit! Here I was going to move to BC and get me a Black-Backed Jackal and a Baboon! Oh well, maybe next time.

    You think thats bad I legally can't keep anything that grows to be more than 3 ft. for pythons and boas and 2 ft. for lizards in my town. :rage:
