when do ya'll see your corns
i've had mine a week, and the closest thing i've seen was the tip of him peeking out. also when i try to feed him, can i re-freeze the rat or when it thawed it done for
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
I see different ones different times of day. Some I never see, others never hide. Depends on the corn.
Some will say its OK to refreeze once. I personally never refreeze an animal. If its thawed and doesn't get eaten, it goes into the trash.
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
since i order rodents, i probelly will refreeze once. thank blue apple, for all the help, on other post as well, i have everything pefrect in his cage, so i guess i will give him time, got him out today and he was all cool, and not to wild i try to give all my guys a week to settle in
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
I never refreeze, but then again I can't remember the last time I had a meal refused by any snake.
When I had my corn, she was on no schedule for activity. Some days she liked mornings, others evenings, and certainly she was out sometimes at night.
Corns in the wild will hunt both during the day and the night, but are more prone to daytime hunting than many other snake species (particularly pythons which are mostly notoriously nocturnal)
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
well it been about a week in a half since he eat, got him a week ago, and the breeder said he feed him 4 days before the show. how often do yall feed your corns, do i feed him like my baby bp, once a week, or do you feed him twice a month, my corn is full grown
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
i feed all my corns every 7 days. I've only had one that refused to eat, but hes doing much better now, he out grew the not eating thing :D
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
thank you lafilleclochette, guess tommorow is feeding day.
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
Yup, every 7 days. With my adult males I feed every 10-14 days.
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
My baby corn is pretty active at night, and early in the morning... he's always cruising around (especially near feeding day), and also loves to "bask" on top of his hide. Guess they're all different!
Re: when do ya'll see your corns
Mine is pretty active and curious. When he hears me walk into the snake room, he's out of his hide and up against the glass. :)
