First home! Excited beyond belief

I just want to share with the community because I cant contain my feelings really. 2 hours ago, my wife and I closed on our first house. A beautiful 2005 5br/2.5bath to kick off our journey into home ownership. My excitement stems from the fact that I will now have an official snake and rodent room, and no more lease agreement rules to hold us back. WE can decorate, we can modify, we can build. We OWN something. I can expand. A full size fridge for an incubator, another rack. AHHHHHHHHH!!! I know this'll seem like a bragging thread, but in reality I just cant contain my happiness.

Edit: Best part is, no more snakes in the bedroom...(quieter wife) LOL j/k

NICE. Good luck. Its such a stressful/yet releasing experience. To be free from the chains of lease agreements...To not have to drive to the nearest park for my daughter to play. Im from NYC...so to have a front and a back yard is absolutely surreal. No more people taking my parking spot that the complex assigns us.

I can BREATHE again lol.

Yeah I cant wait to set this thing up. Off to the side of it is the 2nd floor loft/ den thing that overlooks the living room and is the perfect place to set up an office/photo booth and whatever else. Stuper stokified.

Huge congrats to you!! The possibilities now are endless for you and you will find that you'll get another obssesion. Fixing up your house just the way you will love it.

I remember when Charlie and I bought our first house. I still sometimes sit downstairs and look around and think....OMG...I can't believe this is my house.

Hubby and I are looking to buy right now, and it's a lot of stress, but we're hoping it'll be worth it in the end.
