    Frozen ASF's
So my piebald Diesel will eat anything you throw at him, he's such a good boy. I think he'd eat a cherry tomato if I put one in his cage. But I recently acquiring a princess who hasn't taken any mice or rats black or white not even scented with gerbil bedding. I even did the zombie dance to MJ's Thriller for her. Grr!

She's going to the vet today for a check up...

Anywho my question is are frozen ASF's just as hard for a bp to resist as live or feshly killed ASF's?

    Thanks for your input. :rat:

I think you just have to wait a while longer until they eat.

I have a 500g Male pastel that wont eat, I have live ASFs and he wont touch them. He is eating ONE mice almost every 2 weeks... I blame breeding season. :(

Yep Google frozen ASF's and bunch of places will pop up. They run about $30.00 for 20 medium ASF's with free shipping over $100.00.

frozen works just as well on my one asf eater. to be honest i can dangle a rat for hours in front of her but if i bust out a asf, she takes it within a sec.... frozen or pre killed, or live

I have 1 snake that won't eat anything but ASF's so I figured I would start a colony or 2 (it sure looked like a good idea on paper). They aren't worth the bother IMO.

Has anyone compared rats & ASF's when it comes to food consumed vs. weight of rats produced ??

With my small amount of experience, they just aren't worth it.
