You realy shouldnt feed her in a different enclosure.

I think that would be a matter of personal preference, personally I don't feed in a seperate enclosure, but I am not going to tell someone else not to do it!!!!!!!:rolleye2:

The reason i don't is because I only have one snake and alot of little brothers and sisters. I don't want her to think it's always feeding time if she is in her cage. That's the main reason I do it. And besides alot of people on YouTube feed in a different enclosure. Lol But if I had a rack system with more than 10 snakes then I would feed them in thier regular enclosure.

If you feed in the same enclosure, it doesn't automatically make them think it's feeding time all the time. I suppose some people who are uneducated might think that. There are alot of people that have BPs and post the feedings on Youtube. Majority of them feed in the same enclosure.

Most people on this forum agree that moving them causes extra stress that's not needed. Maybe some of them will chip in.

That is a false believe, a BP wont become cage agressive because it thinks its feeding time all the time. In the contrary, when your BP grows up and its personality develops a bit more, it might become aggressive when you try to remove it to feed it, they dont like that, or it will go off feed. Either way, is a lose-lose situation.

I wouldnt consider random videos in Youtube to be very constructive... Most of them are missleading.

If you are follow things that people do in youtube, make sure it is something constructive first.... The people here are very helpful and always trying to help out, If you lend them an ear, you will learn ALOT about BPs.

I've been feeding bp's for well over a year in a separate container without problems. I have glass tanks for all the snakes decked out with nice decor, fake plants, etc etc... putting a rat in it would be a nightmare! Think rat poop, chewing on the plants, and lots and lots of places for it to hide.

So, come feeding day, they get fed in their feeding tubs outside of their enclosure. No feeding problems here.

Awesome feeding response! I feed my ball python in his cage, but then i feed my cornsnake in a seperate container.

Feedinfg in a seperate container will get you bite more so thatn feeding in the same tank. When its feeding day and you stick your hand in front of a hungry snake, you have more of a chance to get bite! It is a personal choice though!
