    my rescue "oscar"
i was recently givin this guy by a friend that got him from someone who took TERRIBLE care of him and he has suffered for a long time. i was sooooo happy to give him a new home and im very pleased to say he is doing soooo much better. when i got him he could barely lift his head and couldnt walk. a few weeks of good care nd hes moving around great. still cant walk or stand up completly but he has great energy and wattle/slides around well. i named him oscar because he's grouchy. but i cant blame him, i'd hate humans too if if i'd been treated the way he has. all of the brown stains on his tail and back legs comes off with a shed but i cant get him to shed the rest. he gets a warm bath every night but its been like 3 weeks and no more progress. can anybody help?

    He's adorable!
So glad you gave him a good home, he doesn't deserve to be treated unfairly. It's great that he's making progress, hopefully he'll soon be able to walk normally.

As for the shedding, I'd just keep on trying to bathe him and try to take the skin off when you're bathing him.
