Tomorrow at my high school, Congressman Heath Shuler is coming to speak to us. There will be a question and answer part of it, and I was hoping to ask him about his stance on HR 2811 and possibly sway him in our favor. Any suggestions on what to say to him?

    Hi,

You could ask him (politely :P ) if he could look into why a not-for-profit organization (the HSUS ) is spending so much of their annual turnover on political lobbying when they are apparently not supposed to be allowed to do any at all.

Double check that is the situation first though as I am in the wrong country to be certain and having facts and figures you can hand him afterwards as a reminder pack is always a good thing.
