    Mary Jane, my little Savannah
    Hey all,

    Been a super long time since I've posted. Been hanging around. Going to school to be a vet tech, looking to work with herps.

    Here is my little Savannah monitor, Mary Jane. It was my sister's but she didn't want it. She wasn't eating on her own or drinking water. I got her a bigger spot/basking light and a more hiding spots. Here are some pics of her. Weighed her in at 29 grams. She had 3 crickets this morning when i turned on her light and was chasing them on her own.

    Oh, don't mind the tomato in the photo. I had a few crickets that i couldn't out in there and didn't want them munching on my little one. Was outta potato, so will be getting one today and replacing that.

    Yeah she was. She has "filled out" quite a bit now.

    try offering raw shrimp, they have more moisture and that's what she needs.
