Bcc or bci?

i am a boa noob btw, i got my first boa last week.

i have no clue what kind red tail she is other than a "hypo" red tail. could you tell me by a picture of her if shes a BCC or a BCI?

I would say BCI.

Agreed, Hypo BCI. And a very nice one at that. Kinda "junglish."

thanks for the replies guys... and yes she has insane colors, shes awesome and super tame already...

the thing i want to know is what is it that just stuck out to you guys that make you say BCI? i dont quite know the difference yet other than bcc and bci tells you where the boa originated from.

BCI, but there could be some BCC blood in there. You would have to know the snakes lineage to know for sure.

True-Red Tails, or BCC, typically have brighter, wider tail saddles, and blockier body saddles.

You can also tell by counting their belly scales from snout to vent. BCI usually have 20+ while BCC usually have fewer than 20.
