Russian laid eggs

I was getting a rat for my friend who i give them to and she asked "why does the tortoise have an egg?" I looked down ignored everything else and grabbed it with care and got it into the incubator and then started searching for another. I found 3 more eggs all perfect. I can not wait to see the little gems when they hatch.
