    removing/reusing exo-terra heat wave
    Hey everyone,

I have an exo-terra heat wave that I removed from the bottom of a glass tank, and now I'm wondering if it will be safe to attach it to a plastic tub, or if removing it has damaged it too much to re-use?

Has anyone removed one and then attached it to another enclosure and then used it successfully?

Also, is the heat wave 'rainforest' more suitable for a ball python or should I get the "desert" type if I'm keeping him in a plastic tub?

    Thanks for your help!

I use the Zoo Med uth on all my setups. ( Glass, tubs, and vision)
In the past I removed a few different sizes from one setup to another and as far as heating goes I haven't had any trouble in doing so. The sticky side might not stick as well so just pick up some foil tape and you should be good. Just check on both sides for any damage.
    Hope that helps.
