Has any one ever heard of Repti-Racks

Can some one let me know if this cage is a decent cage and if anyone has used them before pros and cons please

I looked into them for a rack, but went with animal plastics they build nice stuff, sorry I'm not more help Whatever you decide good luck

I have a 24" x 24" with sliding glass doors. It's an excellent cage but I would prefer hinged doors. I also have a 48" x 24" double cage with hinged doors. The PVC is very thick and the cages are heavy, so thick that it needs radial heat panels for heat. They hold heat in well because of the thickness. They are very well constructed. If you don't mind a cage that is too heavy to move around easily they are nice. If you can't afford to buy radial heat panels or if you rent and move often, look elsewhere.

I have 2 cages from repti-racks. I'm very happy with the design, functionality and the service I received. I have 1 with a RHP (which I didn't end up needing) and they both have flexwatt for belly heat. The flexwatt heats through the pvc perfectly fine and my thermostat isn't set that high. They also aren't that heavy (24"lx12"hx18") and can be moved around pretty easily. :gj:

I should note that I'm in the Great White North where the heating requirements are different than in places that aren't below freezing much of the year. In my case flexwatt wouldn't cut it but that wouldn't be true for everyone.

Steve is awsome to work with. He'll answer any question and every question. I ordered an SD retic, two 4x2 cages and a 4x2 sized rack. There coming in about a week. But i have the SD retic now. Awsome animal. The customer service is amazing and i would buy from him again in a heart beat. It was mentioned earlier that they were made out of PVC but i dont think they are. They are a different material and are approved by the FDA. I looked into boaphile but they were much thinner and he never answered any emails. I looked into AP also but you have to assemble your cage and seal it. Repti-racks caging is basically just one molded piece. It comes assembled. In my opinion repti-racks is much better. And the prices are hard to beat. Less then 190 shipped anywhere in the US for a 4x2. Hard to beat that. Give them an email and they'll reply quick. Ill say maybe 5 minutes.

I have had my cages for a couple of years. A quick look at his website tells me that he has made a lot of changes. He says that 99% of his customers buy white cages that are FDA safe. He says that the black cages are an entirely different material. Mine are black, are very heavy, and quite well insulated. Evidently the info that I gave you is outdated. He does make well constructed cages and communicate well in my experience.

look's like a well built rack system to me
