    Facebook the senators ?
Could we mount a facebook campaign and write our thoughts directly on their wall for the senators and congress people . Most politicians seem to have a facebook page. Just a thought.

Hmmmm... That is an interesting Idea. Though how many of those senators are really active on their Facebook page? I would think that it might be like a lot of Celebrities that have Facebook, MySpace, ect. They really are not the one maintaining their page one of their hired hands does and the page is just another place to get their name and face out in front of the public.
Though If enough people flooded their pages with postings about a single topic it probably would make it's way back to them. It would also bring attention to that topic to everyone else that visits their page that may not have been made aware of it any other way.

If anyone finds a Facebook for one of the people involved, please post it here so we can all find it. Remember to be POLITE. That is incredibly important at this stage. You are trying to persuade these people, NOT make them angry or attack them!

I think you shouldn't waste TOO much time writing to them on facebook, as it seems unofficial... but anything is worth a try :)

Spend most of your time on real letters and e-mails.

That is just my opinion though :)
