    my kijiji pickup
I picked 3 BP's up off of Kijiji for free back in Sept..

To say the least the person who had them had NO clue about them what so ever.

There were 2 in one tank and 1 in another by its self, the 2 had one hide (empty) water bowl and a heat lamp with a standard white light bulb for heat...that was it.
The 1 by it's self had an empty water bowl and was sitting on top of the (elect.) stove with the range light on for its heat.

I was told they were about 2 yrs old  they ate once a month on F/T pinkies and that the other heat lamp had a short in it and that is why they were using the stove for heat :rage:

Needless to say there was NO WAY I was going to leave them there!

The one that was by it's self I had to put down:tears: it was just to far gone to help it.

The other 2 are doing rather nicely now. Both having had a good shed, fed (like little pigs) and gotten liquid in them.
    Oh and both are female:)

The deplorable conditions when I picked them up (these are sitting in my house as I was setting up their QT tubs)

the names are because Gypsy was playing when I was thinking of names, then I did a search on gypsy names and came across Kizzy (meaning cinnamon tree) and she has some cinnamon colored blushing that I just can’t get to show up in pictures.

Nicely done! I feel bad about the one who had to be put down, but at least he/she is no long in any pain. The others look gorgeous! I love that dark colors on Kizzy.

    Good job!

Wow they plumped up fast! Good for you that you rescued them! They're both beautiful, and I'm sure they're much much happier where they are now.

Not even substrate in the tanks? I'm surprised they don't have RI's!

well I'm not buying the 2 yrs old part on any of them.
they each weighed around 120 gram when I got them so it's really hard for
me to think it even possible to weigh that little and be much more then a hatchling.

so far no signs of any health issues, I was worried about the RI thing with them as well considering no substrate, no water and little heat.

they are both up around the 250 gram mark feeding well on F/T rat pups.

still a little skittish when you first take them out but not for long, they wanna check out every thing while twisting in and out around my fingers.

they are also still head shy but getting better about that too:)

Gorgeous girls and you did a really good thing there, I couldn't have left them either! They sure have plumped up for you too. It is pathetic how people will do this to animals when a little research would go a long way :rage:
