They found a civilization in Africa about 1500 square miles across. And it is dated between 160 thousand and 200 thousand years old.
How they dated it was cool. There is a giant series of stones set up like a star chart. Focused on orions belt. But the star chart doesn't currently match up with orions belt in our time period. But it did between 160k and 200k years ago.
