    Lightening? Paradox?
Every time one of my female pastels sheds her head gets lighter and lighter. She shed a few days ago and now is looking somewhat paradox.
I'm pretty sure she's not paradox, but I've never seen them lighten this much. All scales are intact so she's not losing scales, just lightening....
    What's your take??

    Here she is in March

    And now Tonight

She's also 66% PH pied, but I wouldn't think that would have to do with this.......

I really have no idea what that is. Hopefully someone can identify that for you. It might be something you want to have an exotics vet take a look at (that is, if no one here knows what it is...)

    Skin cancer...she has a couple months left.:D

Naw...it's probably nothing. BG has seen it before and there were no long term issues with the snake.

JM is not going to jump on the third person band wagon, BG has the rights to that already...LOL

IMHO I think there is not much to worry about if the scales are still there and look healthy. It is probably just another oddity like gray tails on spiders.

I'm pretty sure it's not health related, I was just wondering if anyone has seen this sort of color change this dramatic?
I know snakes can/will change colors, but if I walked up to this snake and saw her for the first time today I would swear she's paradox.
Having had her all her since she was a little worm I know (or at least think) she's not.
Just wanting people's opinions and/or experiences.
