I just took my Pastel male to the vet because of an extended hunger strike. He's a-ok but he won't eat A.S.F.'s either and I got them specifically for his little rotten behind!

There is a rodent zoo here atm!!

There is the ASFs 1.2 in their 10g. and the weaner tubs with about 13 or so medium/large ASFs from the first litter...

There is the two mice I bought to see if he would eat those, but no luck. I will feed them off to the spider hatchling soon...

And not too long ago a smaller small rat, again no luck. But my piggy normal female made quick work of it a while ago today. Didnt want to keep so many rodents around :P

I couldnt help but to think about for a few and say to my self: "I must realy love these snakes to keep around all these different rodents" LOL. Although I kinda like the ASFs, amazing rodents in my opinion.

Well, I know its perfectly normal for males to do this, so I won't be taking him to the vet unless he starts losing weight. He was okay last year though so I've got no worries =]

Definitely nothing to worry about--I have an adult male that stops feeding typically in July and doesn't feed again until April most years (though once in a while I can get him to take the occasional meal in between), I weigh him at least monthly, but generally bi-weekly, and his weight rarely varies more than 100 grams.

Pretty much all mine stop eating by the end of November and start again in the spring. It's not uncommon for a BP to stop eating in the Winter months.
