How often should food be offerd once she has gone off feed?
I know there are a billion threads on this but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for so I'm starting a new one. I know that it is common for balls to go off feed this time if year. I have a 3 1/2 year old female that I adopted last April so this is my first winter with her. She has eaten consistently since I got her I feed her a med rat every two weeks. The question I have is how often should I offer food to her now?

Keep on going with your normal feeding schedule, even though some Ball pythons will refuse in the winter doesn't mean ALL Ball pythons will. This will be my second winter with my female and she has never refused a meal from me. Just keep your temps at the right level along with the humidity and you will most likely have no problems at all.

Well I'd say keep on offering food, give her 5 days before offering again. Make sure the rodent is very warm (if you feed her F/T) before offering. If it helps you could try to blow dry the rodent's head with a blow drier for maybe 10 seconds or so then offer it quickly to the snake.
