    how to secure thermometer probe over hot spot?
    what is the best way to secure the thermometer prober over the hot spot in the tub? my reading tells me not to tape it down b/c tape in the tub=bad. What do I do, when my girl move around she always bumps the probe off the part of the tub over the heat tape....

    Why don't you try taping it under the cage at the hot spot? If that's your snake in your avatar, it looks like you're using an aquarium. It would be easy to do if you are.

    I have one taped under that tank, but Im talkin about for my tubs in my rack that i built!

    If you want to put the probe in a tub you should use a dummy tub so the snake can't mess with it, pee on it etc.

    This works great for me in my rack so I don't have to waste a shelf:
