black glass...

where is everyone getting the black glass from that they use to photograph their snakes?? makes it look 100X better to me... i need to get some.

I think some people use mirrors with black backgrounds, which reflect onto the glass making it appear black... I also think you can get black acrylic, but could be mistaken. I agree, though - it looks super cool! :gj:

What about a glass on top of black carton ?

I actually prefer to shoot mine over a white back ground...I guess that's besides the point though.

Take acrylic or glass and put it over a black piece of paper, but most people just use a dark room with a black backdrop.
