    I'm just curious how the length wise heat tape on the bigger tubs are working out. I've thought of it but I was never sure how good of a thermogradient it would provide. ~Caylan.S.~

    It works fine for me. They can just thermoregulate front to back instead of side to side. Everyone over here eats sheds and poops just fine.

    Thanks, I'm REALLY hoping to get some queen bee's this year. Or if the pastel's get big enough I wanna make a super pastel lesser (fingers crossed). If not, there's always next year for a super pastel lesser

    I use length-wise heat tape on my 28 & 42qt tubs, since they're in a "flexible" rack with 12qt tubs as well... so far it's been fine, and like Josh said they can thermo-regulate front to back. My sub-adult Delilah tends to prefer cooler temps, so she just moved her cave to the front side. ;)
