Humid Hide question

Is it ok to always leave the humid hide in the tank? I have one snake that uses it as a 3rd hide she even has a little path and just stick her head out of it.
2nd what can I use for a 3 1/2 foot for a humid hide? I tried a large glad square container when I came down stairs noticed he was at least in it due to it was apart.

You can leave it in as long as you check it every few days to make sure it isn't molding.

I would try some kind of plastic container with a snap on lid. Check the dollar store, they might have some nice big ones.
