How cool can you keep breeders?
I apologize if this has been covered, but I'm tired and busy. :P

I need to move my ratties into the garage for a bit. We're having family over and I need a bit of space. Plus, I have a family member who is scared to death of rats. It's just going to be for the weekend, but it's been getting into the 40's at night. We don't park in the garage and it is fairly insulated. And I can move the space heater out there.

So how cool can they take it? The last thing I want to do is to do anything to damage their health!

So watcha think? Will they be ok for the weekend?

    Thanks in advance!

in my expierenceo f breeding rodents, they breed best at a consistant temperature rather one that jumps all day long.

I keep them all at 80F all year long and i produce 3-400 a month. But the lowest rodents will tolerate and breed is high50s to low 60s.
