    New to the forum :)
    Hello everyone :)

Im new to the forum and semi new to the python world. I have 2 WC California Kingsnakes and have had tons of milk/corn/gopher snakes. I had one ball python before that i got from a friend, but when i had gotten him he had mouth rot and wasnt eating :( I gave him to the local herp store because i was out of my element.

I was in the rep store getting crickets for my chameleon last night and they had this one last little BP who was exploring his cage and being all cute so i asked to hold him. The owner said that no one hand wanted him and he was jsut trying to find a place to get rid of him to a good owner. Me being in the market for a snake decided, SURE! ugh lol.

I dont know all that much about young BPs. I have known the ownwer of the store for 4 or 5 years so he is helping me a little bit but im coming to you guys for more answers. Right now he is in a 20G tank with newspaper bottom, has a tissue box for a hide spot and a bowl of water. The hot side of the tank is 85-92*with 50-60% humidity and the cold side gets down to 70-75 or so. I need to know about substrate and heating and everything but all ask those later.

here are some pictures, i decided to nake him Jormungandr

Welcome to the forum! Ah the joys of a youngin' BP!

He might be a little freaked from the 20g, not sure though. He seems to be decent sized, just make sure you have the tank set up properly. IE, Cover up 3 sides with something dark, and either put balled up newspaper in there or buy some fake plants and put them in there. Newspaper is a great substrate!

He's a cute little BP, you'll enjoy him!
