    What should be the proper temp(at night) on a 40 gl tank,for a ball python???

    I can't imagine tank size factors into the proper temps for a ball python.

    Check out the stickies for the proper set-up of a glass tank, along with appropriate temp and humidity levels.

    Unless you are breeding, you shouldn't lower the temperature during the night. Keep at hot spot of around 92 and a cooler at 85.

    When breeding it's different, and everyone have their way. But I suppose it's not the case for you.
