    Second shed....
So my normal Elizabeth is going into her second shed with me. The first one was bad...came off in several pieces and I was only about 2 weeks into having her. VERY stressful for me so I can only imagine what it was for her. Since then I have done TONS of research...found this site...and have taken some steps to try to help out my humidity level. Plus I pre-made a moist hide for her waiting for the day.

Well...it has come! I took her out yesterday and her eyes were blue. So...I checked the humidity level....I at least got it up to 65% (which is good for me....I have such a hard time with this). I get the new moss hide set up which is just a lid with wet moss on it and a small dark container over it with a hole cut into it. So...Im ready and hoping for a good shed this time.

I get up this morning ....go to check on her and CANNOT find her anywhere. I double check the lock...ok...its on.....I check for holes in the screen area...nope that is fine. I look on the branch...as sometimes I look all over the cage and realize she is up on her branch staring at me. NOPE!! :tears:

Egads...where is she! OYE....she is under the entire moist hide..yes under the lid. Not in it...under it. Goof ball!!!

So anyways...wish me (errr Elizabeth) luck on this shed.

Good luck with the next shed, tanks can be such a pain :(

You might even introduce her to the humid "tub" by placing her inside it :)

If humidity is an issue full time, leaving in the humid hide full time, and keeping it damp isn't a bad idea.

Well I am in the process of getting racks....so hopefully this will not be an issue in the future.

I am going to order a cb 70 rack from Reptile Basics. I was hoping that the shed wouldn't happen this quickly. But she is getting soooo big fast!

It's amazing how fast they grow the first year.
My bigger 09 lesser girl is already over 400 grams :D

And yeah tubs will put bad sheds in the past.
