P.murinus

Well, never owned a T. But I really love orange, and I really love aggressive snakes...but I'm not sure if that means I would love an Aggressive T. I mean I'm sure its even stupid for me to think I could take it and not know what I am getting in to. But, I do think that I want a tarantula, and I want a fast one. Maybe not for a first one, so what does someone think I should do to get ready for a P. murinus. I do not believe in handling Tarantulas or Scorpion. So I'm not worried about handling. I just want to know a little more about them from first-hand experience and if I don't start with this one, what should I start with?

I own several T's and the OBT is one of my favorite. Very low demand as far as temps and humidity go. I'd say if your not into handling I would get one. Very fast and very aggressive though.

well an OBT( orange bitty thing) make great pets. like it dry, temps normaly around common house temps. they eat great, and make crazy webs. if you arent going to try and handle it then i saw get one. just as long as you know they are very fast and can be very "deffensive". but i have never had a problem with any of the ones i have had.

as for other Ts for first timers, there is the common rosie( rose hair), the pink toe( avic avic), pretty much any of the branchys ( red knee, red leg, and so on) and the native american Ts make great pets and are cheapish and they are very pretty. good luck and be warned Ts are just as addicting and snakes!

Thanks everyone! I think I am going to research on spiders for another month or two and then decide the one i want. But I am probably gonna go with an OBT. =D
