Decisions Decisions!!!!

I have decided to throw my hat in the breeding ring this season.

I have been thinking about what I wanted to do, here is what I got;

Pastel 50% het. albino 1.0

100% het. albino 1.0

Pastel 0.1

100% het albino 0.1

So I will throw up a poll and see what we get!

Pastel 50% het. Albino 1.0 x 100% het albino 0.1

Mainly to shoot for supers and possibly prove him out.

I'd give this guy the year off.

Hi,

There is one thing to consider though.

Statistically it would be easier to prove/ disprove him him with an albino female and pastel albinos aren't exactly massively different from normal albinos.

I know the heads are lighter but I know I couldn't pick them out with 100% reliability. :oops:

I was not going to breed this year because of the cost. But I was looking at a cooler incubator and thought of a cheap alternative, well same concept. Just use a cooler with the T-stat I have and a zoo-medics heat pad.

^^^ that looks good id go with that one and send the 1.0 100% het albino to me im missing one for my project this year

try to prove out that 50%er :D

pastel albinos are pretty, and you can work on some super pastel het albinos hopefully.

Of course it's a risk, but what's the point of having a 50%er without trying to prove it out?
