Feeding and Antibiotics!

Do you guys offer food to your animals that you are treating for R/I with injectible antibiotics, or do you just withhold food for the duration of treatment?

When my Kingsnake had RI, my vet told me to not feed him during the injections. So, I had two weeks worth of injections, and I did not feed him during that time. I'm not exactly sure what feeding does while treating the snake with antibiotics, but I listened to what my vet said.

I didnt feed mine while they were undergoing treatment atleast I don't remember feeding them.
