To good to be true usually is
First off hello ! long time lurker first time poster

i recently received an email from a breader who said they have a piebald they are trying to find a home for, they are not asking any $ for the snake at all only shipping costs.
(apparently he does not have enough time anymore)

at first i wanted to jump all over it, but ive learned that things to good to be true usually are.. especially with a snake that could sell for $1000+

just curious if this sounds like any type of scam that you have heard of before.
    thanks in advanced

Yes, it sounds exactly like an African scam. They'll ask you to Western Union some money to cover shipping and paperwork.

Yes, sounds vary familiar. I just stumbled onto a site called adoos. Those people are all over that site. Although, I really haven't heard of anyone actually going through with it and getting scammed.

I have just told myself, if you don't trust the poster, it's not worth the risk.

cant blame a guy for dreaming

I did hear about a Piebald Breader here in San Diego CA though, anyone have an idea of who that might be?

It might be Bryce Honstead. He's doing a lot with the Pieds and double recessives. He is a great guy and I would recommend him. Here is his site:
