would that or something like it be good for ball pythons adults or babys?

Personally I would not use it, my opinion thought. Since it is all plastic if you had a heat malfunction it could easily melt.

The biggest issue with those drawer setups is that though you can't it see it in the picture, there are huge gaps around the top of each drawer where your snake can fairly easily find its way out. You're much better off with individual tubs.

Pretty sure the plastic they use in those drawer setups is thin and not very durable anyway.

Nope. I tried it and like everyone says, the heat warps the plastic, the gaps are easy for the snake to escape.

seems like an easy alternative to building or buying a rack but it just didnt work, and i tried to fill in the gaps with pieces of plastic but even my full grown female bp got her way out. Not fun leaving them for an hour to come back and find 2 of them missing.

tried it and the heat never warped the plastic but making it escape proof is another story..

I used choroplast pieces cut to size to fill in the gaps and no snakes ever got out.

The heat does not warp the plastic.
You have to remember, the heat needed is cooler than body temperature...

That being said...

They do not hold in humidity very well.
Even with no big openings, there are still many small ones and all at the top. Heat and humidity both end up escaping.

I pulled mine apart and turned it back into a storage rack for all of my supplies.

Go down to the DIY forum further down the main page, lots of good designs and plans in there. I'm sure you can find something, just maybe not anything quite as cheap as those drawers, but I guarantee they'll work better.
