Anyone have an idea what my snake is doing...

My mojo is 1300g and seems as healthy as an ox. Having said that, anyone have a clue what kind of behavior this is?

He will literally lay like this for hours and not move an inch. He rests his head vertical against the tub and doesn't really care what position his body is in.

I know when a snake has a bad RI it goes vert in an attempt to breath more easily, but Rocco doesn't have any physical problems that are noticeable. When he's in this position, he doesn't move, there's no tongue activity. He just lays there.. lol

Anyone else's snakes do anything like this?

I think he is sniffing the air coming through the holes at the front of the tub.

I wouldn't imagine star gazing because of an RI since you say he's healthy. Maybe he finds it comfortable laying there.. or you could go with what Dr Del said because I have no clue LOL.

I have a pied that rests in every position imaginable, some that don't look particularly comfortable. No expert here but wouldn't say this is necessarily an indication of a problem if there aren't any other symptoms.

I think he might be napping....look at his pupils and see if they are super small.....

My biggest female lays EXACTLY like this 90% of the time unless she has just been fed within the last 24 hours or is in a shed cycle. She's also very healthy and I've accepted it as simply her being comfortable. She seems to like the smell of the air coming in from the corner along with the ergonomics of the tub :cool: for whatever reason.

No worries, its normally abnormal.

not sure but I know my pied female has gone to great lenght to freak me out with her laying at times. I seen her once in knot ( and it was aa real tight one) that freaked me out cause she was spazzing out making enough noise that I heard her tough the living room wall and had to check . I think they do wierd things for attention and to amuse themselves .
