    is it possible to cross breed boa species?
    someone mentioned breeding a hogg island boa to a brazilian rainbow boa to get a snake with awesome colors.

    I'm not sure about the BRB part , so that's why I was asking. I think that's what he said. it was a while ago so I may be mistaken. Is this possible to do or did I get the name of the snake wrong?

    I've never personally heard of it happening, but I don't know enough about boa genetics to know if it's feasible. I've heard boa crosses are notoriously difficult anyways (bcc/bci crosses for example).

    People breed cross-genus python hybrids, so it might very well work for boas.
