    Just bought my first drum set today...
    I'm so pumped! Some sweet stuff panned out so I figured I've waited long enough...

    I bought a 5piece Mapex Meridian Maple set with the transparent black finish. I'm totally new to drumming so ANY AND ALL TIPS ARE 100% WELCOME!

    Grats you should have alot of fun. I just picked up a guitar again a few weeks back after 5 years. Man I have alot to learn again lol.

    Yea... I only know simple beats, so it's going to take months and years to get to a jamming level..
