    Incubation Temp. & sex determination
    Do you guys feel that the sex ratio's of your clutches can be influenced by incubation temp's? Just wondering.

    Nope. Wish there was some real scientific evidence showing that you could, but I haven't been able to find anything.

    No I haven't seen anything with mine. I did try lower incubation temps one year as well and I lost half the clutch at hatching. I'll never do that again.

    Ah,

    Then no there is no evidence whatsoever that changing the temps sways the sex ratio in any way as far as I know at this point.

    I agree that no evidence exists that INCUBATION temps influnece sex but I did read a artical about temps at conception haveing some effect, This was a american research paper about captive breeding for re-popualting a threatened species, (cant recall what one) but it may well apply to pythons.

    Pretty sure incubation temps don't influence gender in snakes the way it can in turtles, lizards and crocodilia.
