    Question on underweight/fed bp
ok so i have a female normal bp i received her about 2 months ago from a girl she told me that she was 2 years old (which i doubted right away by size) she also told me that she feed it 1 time every 3 months which i called her an idiot for doing which is why she is way underweight well to make a long story short i have a 2 year old male and this supposed 2 year old female well i took them to get probed and there weight .. my male is about a little over 3 feet and is 1163grams .. he is eating a live med rat every week .. now my female is a little over 2 feet and she is only at 383grams which i know i way way way underweight .. they told me that instead of feeding her a small rat every week to feed her 2 mice instead ... does this sound right or do any of you have any suggestions on how to beef her up fast ... my father in law told me to buy a multi vitamin from the pet shop and actually inject it into the mice usuing a syringe which will help her beef up faster ... i dont like seeing her this way and want her to be normal as quick as possible ... she has no problems eating and i do feed them both once a week ... but any suggestions would help .... thanks in advance

this is her not a great pic but you can see she has no build to her

No need to beef her up fast - just do what you're doing and feed her on a weekly schedule - slow is better, you don't want to shock her system.

I re-habbed 2 severly underweight animals, and you'll be surprised how quickly she'll gain weight on just a normal weekly schedule of meals.

thanks i just got a little nervous when he told me that her belly was a bit on the loose and wrinkled side .. since ive had her for the past 2 months she has been eating on a regular every week ... now should i continue her on a small rat or give her the 2 mice .. which would she benefit from better ?

I would go with a medium rat.

the stuff is actually made to inject the rats and mice ... its not like steroids or anything ( i dont want my bp looking like barry bonds ) all it is is more vitamins doesnt work miracles just helps the thickening process

I would go with a weekly medium rat. You may need to prekill then do the zombie walk with tongs if she can't catch them. She may be too weak to get a good grip! She will beef up with this regular feeding schedule! Good luck!
