    Need some opinions
This weekend my female BP "Bella" messed in her enclosure and was found laying in the mess so I took her out and put about inch or so of luke warm water in the sink and proceeded to put her in the water - when I first put her in she stuck her head under the water - maybe she didn't realize she was in water - don't know but anyway I rinsed her off and immediately dried her off but while I was drying her off I heard a little whistle noise and then in about a five minute span of time I heard about 3 whistles in all. After I cleaned out her cage I held her for a bit to make sure she was okay and didn't hear any more whistling - could this have been caused by her getting water up her nose??? I was immediately worried about an RI but like I said all the whistling stopped as quickly as it had started.

Your opinions please and should I be concerned.

    Thank you for your help.

Absolutely could have caused it. Just keep checking on her to make sure she is okay (no more whistling sonds, open mouth breathing etc.), make sure temps are correct, husbandry etc :gj: I personally wouldn't be concerned unless she keeps doing it and it does not go away soon.

My Elizabeth does this at times too when I give her a bath....almost like a tiny sneeze but she was fine afterwards. They are just clearing out the water.

This was definitely a whistle noise but it only happened a few times and haven't heard it since. I will get her out tonight and listen for any strange noises

    Thank you.
