If she's healthy, and still on feed, she's ready(IMO)

About 1300 doesn't sound like your positive on the weight?

If she's around 1300g and she's still feeding, you should get close to 1500g by mid December. I'd probably still try breeding if she ends up around 1400g.

I say 1300 because I weighed her while she still had food in her as for the her being in her 3rd winter she was hatched in august of 08, she is a heck of an eater and very healthy.

Size is more important than age. Sounds to me like she'll probably be ready if she keeps on eating like she has!

You got it backwards. AGE is more important than SIZE. If you have a 1200g female who is only 14 months old, that doesn't mean she's ready to go. If you have a 5 year old female who is only 1100g, then by all means go for it. I wait for 3rd winter and 1500g+. If she is a long, skinny 1500g, I wait. If she's a shorter, chunky 1500g, then she's good to go.

If she's only a year and a half old, just wait. It's not worth it to stress her body when she's not even done doing the majority of her growing.
