One of the things that I am seeing is that lately my female has been laying on her side with her belly towards the inside of the circle she makes, and not on the floor. I can't remember but does this indicate impending ovulation or developing eggs? My boys aren't doing this and care and temps. are exactly the same. They are in the same rack and temps are checked daily and at most there is only a 1 deg. difference between various tubs.
When i picked her up about 1 month ago, she had been in a group tank with 4 boys. It is entirely possible that she got bred at the store where I got her. I had noticed someone locked up previously at this store. Not sure whether it was her or not.
